A delay has been added before you can revive after death. The timer starts whenever you press ESC to revive.

If MXL become incompatible with D2SE wouldn't you have to use just two copies of the game? one for the 30 mods with D2SE and the other for Median alone (not sure since I haven't been using D2SE in years) Exactly. I hope d2se and plugy are made incompatible sooner than later. They are as soon as MXL is released. They both simply do not work with MXLS, and there's not much I can do about it.
