If you play on sp you can use offline tools. If you playing on realm (mp) the only thing you can to is to lvl-up or reroll your amu a.k.a finding new one or using cube recipe.

I highly recommend Transistor. This game is just epic Super storyline, and switching between RTG and TBG is super cool feature. Also fights are really challenging sometimes and they require some good future thinking and strategy.
