Yeah I know that mercy needed a nerf. But that new ult was just so strange. I couldn't get used to it.
Yeah I mained that hacker girl too for quite a while. But that was when the average win rate of her was below 40%. I still got a nice 45% xD
She was really hard to play back then. You had to know when to retreat, where to go and how to confuse the enemies. In general a tracer was better for that job thanks to higher mobility. But once you got your ult, you were able to completely change the outcome of the game unlike tracer. And you got that ult quite often. This one time on Anubis, I hacked all 6 enemies, of which 1 was a Reinhardt and 1 a DVA, who both protected Bastion and all other 3 enemies. 1 ult easy win. After their strategy failed, we rushed the 1st point and then got to the 2nd just as easily even though we struggled a lot at first.
Imo Sombra really excels at getting to high points and "sniping" the enemies from above. Cause that's usually what nobody expects. Got quite a few gamebreaking ults that way too. Imo the important thing about Sombra is having a good idea when to use that crazy ult of hers and having a good view on the battlefield. Your ult can be strong af, but if your team isn't ready, it's just wasted.

Yea when playing Sombra you need to call out your ults and yeah only use them whenever someone is ready to make a play with their own ult. Zarya+Sombra+Hanzo/Genji/Dva ult combo works really well, ive had quite a few sextuple kills with zarya+sombra combo.
Sadly Sombra doesnt generate ult with hacked health packs used by your team anymore, only way is to deal damage now. But on the flipside her hack is much faster to finish, has less CD and her submachine gun has zero recoil now so you can reliably hit stuff now instead of pressing LMB for 2 seconds and youre looking at the sky. Really annoying.
Press Q, get potg, did a little bit of juking around the payload so they would think id go round the side.
