I think i once posted about this mod, but cannot find it. So will do another post. This time a bit more info + pics.

Mod - Immersion

Pros and cons (can varie from the personal perspective)
Works with D2SE, has an old home page with good info.
Has plugy and skill restat works (stat restat is not active and not sure why and how).
Players 1-8 command is also dissabled (could not find a way to enable it).
Only two playeable classes - barb and sorc.
Unique skill system - you can get skills depending on your stats like str/vit. Lowest lvl 1 skill needs 15 str/vit, highest lvl 1 skill needs 90 str/vit. (dex/ene for sorc)
A lot of new skills for both classes.
New system of souls that drop from mobs. Collect them into soul container, use them later to craft/upgrade, ect..
Magic items are dropped identified already. Rares, uniques and sets - suka Cain charges a lot of gold. No ID scrolls in game.
Rares/uniques/sets drop very rare and when they do - most rares have this unique cancer mix of stats - all good stats and one super bad. Like -20% one type of resist on decent item. Seen good item with all possitive stats just a few times.
Lots of crafting options, lots of materials to collect.
Hard difficulty in the begining, a little bit easier later but still hard. Resists are low, mobs come in packs (not swarms but still).

Looks interesting. almost like PoE stole some ideas from this. What base version does it run on? I assume 1.10.

Voted yes, but in reality there is almost zero chance that i will play it. Btw what does this new change is trying to tell - some spliting in mod developing team ? Mod moving into new direction ? New patch ?

Not sure, I dont keep eye on HU community. Most likely people are sick of crappy servers, which freak out and get characters stuck in the game for days/weeks (host doesn't bother to reset asap). Patch-wise idk, current one is rather shit, but nothing close to 1.7 one.

Isnt the HU Dev Team splitted since years, because only 1 of the 2 or 3 patched is coming to the Realm? Also, i saw that PureRage was posting on the PK Discord about returning to modding, so he probably will take the lead again.

Why would he come back to HU? He could keep going with his Netherworld Rises mod, which was really promising and unique. I have feeling that he had another mod aswell, which got abandoned similarly to NR, am I wrong?

The only mod i can think about similar to NR - Midlands ? Has same 50 stat potion at start, same mana/hp heal skill, no hp/mp pots in game. Reworked skills in better way than vanilla stuff. I tried it a bit (think there was a game bug too), but do to a lack of time it stays in reserver to be played in future.

Well, he still supported HU in the background as far as i know. But yeh, he mentioned that he have another project aswell, so probably a extended NR version or a new mod.
