Yep, That TU Axe called in a Treewarden, I had Elven Song for my Druid; but they often decided that charming the flits was more important than the lumbering behemoth that seemed to take a liking to my booty. The ring also decreases your damage resistance by 33%; so even if it called Kabraxis as a BFF, it wouldn't really be worth it.

It decreases it by -33%... Decreases by -33% would that mean that nothing happens or it actually increases it?

the archers will run away from you if you're close to them, or towards you if you are far from them. use that to herd them into smaller and more manageable groups. (summoner is still the only reasonable way to farm here)
