There was a poll about a year ago. The only person to work on sigma is whist. And he‘s busy with everything. That was the reason for that poll, where most people rather wanted to have a new content patch instead of waiting for sigma for another year without any updates. I mean... the community would die out if there was no new content. And the implemented cotent is part of what is in sigma already.

Anyway: great to hear a new update is coming

I think they are working in parallel on both sigma and the current patches.
