if heroic shields are removed, will we get information about new boss resists?

and if shields are removed, does that mean they will always take dmg? because if so, due to dmg scaling a one shot becomes an 8 shot, and they die "instantly" because you can just keep damaging them repeatedly as opposed to them becoming immune, which would be very nice :punish:

Nice. People say shit like "Look they wait 8 years for singma" but in that time we got what? 8 Patches?

The fight should take as long as before - if you waited 1 min for the res drop and insta killed you should still need 1 minute.

Damage Rework

Probably one of the coolest changes in this patch, the damage rework by suchbalance. It consists of reducing monster health and character damage by 8 everywhere. In theory the damage will still feel the same, however this change brings a lot of good features. Wonderful news, can't wait! I'm genuinely surprised that reducing the damage output of the player to 1/8 of what currently is will allow the removal of heroic shields, I'd have guessed something more along the line of 1/12.
Is the doc being worked on during the development process too? cause it would be great to have a reliable source for various info just as the new version hit. I'm also hyped for the new uberquests, I'm wondering if they'll be summoning quests since (probably I'm wrong) I recall reading somewhere that new areas couldn't be implemented.

Well, removal of pierce orbs as mentioned in the topic should also help greatly to the elimination of heroic shields, so it's not like it will be just 8 times bigger hp pool.

I thought you had in mind to remove them orbs. Are you going to progressive removing them in each patch? That would be better than making them *poof* in one patch :D
