Solution on mac would be to try WINE, dual-boot windows or try a virtual machine. I was amazed how well a virtual machine windows ran and did various programming related things on my 2013 13" MacBook Pro.

It works fine on 2016 MBPro with Windows10 on bootcamp.

Are all heroic shields being removed? This opens up heavy physical characters to doing a lot of heriocs like Astrogah. What might be some negative implications of this? Were immunity shields solely a gimmick? I think like Quiv Tsin having immunity shield makes sense from like a lore / character design aspect, but would personally hate it still.

I believe heroic shields were the answer to health/damage limits, which are being reworked for the next patch. Therefore there is no more need for the obnoxious heroic shield.

It adds a nice challenge to Median, but it's kind of annoying. Sometimes I can kill BPR in 10 seconds, sometimes I kill him in 6-7 minutes. The resistence drops seem like a luck-of-the-draw thing.

What about purify bosses? Do those fall under the same category as heroic shield as gimmick to get around caps?

A new mechanic could be purify to remove immunity shield for a set amount of time so you can do your regular damage.

since magic orbs will be reworked, what about luck trial orb? will it stay lvl 2 req or chance wil be doubled as well as it's level?

Purify bosses are immune to all. Heroic bosses have a randomly changing resistance shield. They're not the same thing.

Also don't understand what you mean with "physics damage characters can do heroics when the shields are removed."

You already can do them with physical. There are skills and properties and items that can reduce or break physical immunities.

Oh, people do quiv tsin and astro with physical skills?

You can do them with any damage type.
