Please HELP Unrecoverable internal error 6fe2137c

thanks in advanced for reading this..... i get thiis error in act 3 near travincal havenot seen this error anywhere else except near tals tomb in act 2.... i n have no idea on how to fix this error so i can play i am stuck in act 3 because of this ...
this is the "error Unrecoverable internal error 6fe2137c" PLEASE PLEASE ANY IDEA on how to fix this problem would be very much appreicattted :cry:

Reroll the map by loading the char on a different difficulty. If you're in hatred, download PlugY, open PlugY.ini and set AlwaysRegenMapInSP=1.

well im new to the game im stuck in terror normal mode

This is a sprite decompression error, go to your Diablo II folder (or ultimative folder if you use D2SE), and check for the latest error log and post here.

The problem is most likely either on D2Data.mpq (your Diablo installation) or Patch_d2.mpq (mod installation). You can test your luck by reinstalling median, and if that doesn't work, you'll need to get a proper D2Data.mpq (could be found on google I guess). Note, if the problem is in d2data, reinstalling won't do anything so don't waste your time.

i have tried reinstalling idk what else to do any suggestions would be gratefull

Reinstalling won't fix it as your CD is corrupted. You'll have to try downloading the game from somewhere else.

Also, no need to make a post about it on all topics.

I didn't post on every thread..... I posted in this one and in the short question thread you made it seem like I spammed the forums....... Anyways I manually extracted all the mpq files from the CDs and it seems to have worked.... I haven't got the error yet I made it pas travincal and I'm now in act 5 .... I'm praying that it somehow fixed it I will keep this updated.. Has anyone else seen or have had this error except me????

Glad you got it to work. And yes this error is probably the most common error in D2.

That's weird I been playin since 1.08 and I have never seen this error... And yea I'm glad I fixed it because this is my first time with median mod and I am having so much fun almost as much fun as when d2 was in its prime
