Both orbs and oils allows you to go up to %350 ED. No matter what you add first.

More is possible if you socket Ith/Jah/Shaad/Xis runes.

It's possible to reach more than 700% ED, but only on grey items when you make a runeword.

Only on Dragonheart RW, others are capped at 700%. Just clarifiying.

Because I want to form an opinion on realm play I decided to start SP. Just one char for now.

I am wondering, wat are the biggest drawbacks of SP gaming? I've already heard about that your corpse isn't in town in the next game you start. Is there any workaround of would that be cheating?

The drawbacks of SP is that some items are realm-only, so you can't find them and you can't play with peoples. Your corspe WILL be in town if you quit the game, even in SP.

Thanks, indeed I tried it out and apparently it isn't as bad as I thought. The drops are way better and playing P8 makes it a breeze to level up. I am not sure yet to what extent the missing of realm only items has impact on builds I like to play but for now it seems I can at least reach my 500 sigs and get some more SU's before the season ends ;) Oh wait, no season, no wipe! Great!
