Points in Maelstrom add to the number of projectiles thrown by Scorpion Blade (1 blade per 4 points).
Procs inherit synergies (when used on a character of the same class as the proc, that has access to those synergy skills).
'ctc Scorpion Blade on kill' throws extra knives with points in Maelstrom.
'ctc Scorpion Blade on striking' does not throw extra knives with points in Maelstrom.
