Amazon Phalanx Broken?

I aim my character but Phalanx always shoots the wrong direction, what am I missing thanks!

You have to aim it. Your character's facing during cast matters as there will be a 90 degree angle between your facing and phalanx wall.

If you're moving east and cast it ahead of your east, it will create an upwards column for single target dps.

If you're moving east and cast it north above you, it will create a line for aoe.

ok so how do i get them to shoot north and/or northwest?

it seems like they will only shoot to the west & south, how do I get them to shoot east?

Phalanx always is shooting in this direction

They always shoot the same direction, but you can control how you line the archers up.

it seems unintuitive, I am coming from the bottom of the map and need them to shoot north and east to clean up mobs coming at me. Is that not possible?

no. it is at it is.

thats a bummer because I like the skill but its useless half of the time. Thanks for the help

its not useless .... it looks strange at the first moment but with a little bit training you find out how to use it
