что бы все заработало изначально лучше поставить чистый клиент
я брал клиент отсюда там в аннотации к видео ссылка есть на гугл диск с чистым клиентом,после ставишь лаунчер Median XL
Теперь 2 чтобы установить русификатор от Anhe1 нужно :
1 скачать пак отсюда и поместить его в папку с игрой
2 дальше нужно идти в папку AppData\Roaming\MedianXL
3 Там будет папка Launcher заходишь в нее и там файл settings.json открываешь любым текстовым редактором (кроме ворда)
4 в строчке "language": "en" меняешь "en" на "ru"
5 вроде все запускай и играй
6 ВАЖНО: все манипуляции с settings.json проводить при выключенной игре и выключенном лаунчере.

Парень выше все правильно расписал !
Все работает если правильно установить на чистый клиент

Polish Translation I invite you
Hi everyone.
I present to you a temporary solution for getting a translation into a Polish language game, temporary because the translation does not have tongues from which the Polish Language is famous and uses only a typical file name: "lang-fr.mpq". The instructions below I invite you

1 - Close the Median XL Launcher launcher.
2 - Download the file named: "Polish_Translate.zip" - address here.

3 - Extract best to the desktop.

4 - Copy the file named: "lang-fr.mpq" to the folder where the "Diablo 2 LoD" game is installed.

5 - To open the file "settings.json" just open the second file which is a safe abbreviation named: "settings.json" to quickly go to edit the file "settings.json" open it with (using only Notepad)

when you open it, find it: ("language": "en") here you have to change "en" to "fr" and then save and close.

6 - Launch Median XL Launcher go to settings in the launcher and you will see that the language has changed to French.
so we press "X" to close the setting tab, press Play and enjoy.

New launcher update (1.18) is out, it should fix this issue.

I would've never guessed that there's a launcher update, as my 1.1.6 never told me this. After re-downloading from the website it became 1.1.8.
