Melee necro help

Does anyone have an idea on how to make melee necro end game viable? I can farm nm, and do some of hell (ive been able to do butcher and infernal machine by myself, no probs with butcher but infernal machine was a bit tricky cause the mobs 1 hit ko me). I use paraside for main skill and carnage for for single target/bosses cause parasite does jack shit to bosses. Gear i use rathma belt, helm and boots (still working on getting last 2 pieces), t4 jitans, kra runeword in a sacred raptor scythe, + skills rings and ammy with some other slightly useful stats, honorific gloves with all res and fhr. and yes my res are capped in hell. Now my problem is i am very squishy, even when farming nm i die quite often in some places, same for hell in spots but theres a lot of areas i cant even do and act bosses are out of the question. any suggestions? i have no idea what i need to do to improve and not be so bad.

I'm playing a dagger / shield necro with Carnage as my main skill; I one pointed into parasite and maxed out other stuff. What skills are you using?
My setup is:

Embalming - Max
Talon's Hold - Max
Elemental Flayers - 1 point (for the aura of blood)
Carnage - 7 points (no cool down on skill at 7 base points)
Famine - Max
Angel of Death - 1 point (to get out of trouble and jump between bridge areas)
Dragon Fire Oil - Max
Death Ward - Any leftover points
Graveyard - Any leftover points (haven't completed black road yet as i'm on lvl 116)

I play a balanced play style between damage and defense so i'm not that squishy.
I use carnage only as i find the life-leech is better using that skill and the damage is superior to parasite.

Possible Gear Options to Improve Squishyness:

Ive maxed embalming, dragonfire oil, deathlord, parasite, death ward, 7 carnage, 5 famine. Generally I use parasite for mobs and carnage for bosses/leftovers. As for gear I have 3 piece rathma set (belt, boots, helm), kra runeword in sacred raptor scythe, honorific gloves I've been using since early game (changing those soon for better honorific) TU Jitan's Kamon, rare jewelry with +skills with really any useful other stats. For sockets I use res Pgems in all armors, on weapon I use ber crafted jewels before runeword.


I may give the dagger/shield combo a try and respec my skills a bit to compensate, what do you use for that combo if I may ask?

Haven't had any trouble with ubers / bosses or farming K3K + Torajan Jungles...Tran Athulua can be challenging, but keep moving and you should be fine.
