pointers for crossbow necro???

hello. just starting to play after a long time. is xbow necro any good and what to max on it? gear?

Its a fun build to play but imo falls short on dmg

It is a fun build. I'm playing it right now. If you want to go with the widowmaker skill prioritize damage modifiers over attack speed and use % life leech and % mana leech. The tiered unique trebuchet is a great example of your ideal weapon. Mana is a problem for this build, I use 12 ber crafted jewels which is 24% mana leech and i only get low mana sometimes on hell act bosses. Early on MO mana regen on your amulet and rings. Dont stop putting points into WM to reserve mana. I don't know why the previous poster said the damage is low. It is absolutely not low. Some prefer using talons hold as the defensive. I put one point in that and put all leftover points into void archon instead. Be sure to keep your attack rating at least 85%.
