The frozen orb proc from Azure and the pure cold damage plus 100% pierce just decimates. If you dual wield, bosses can go pretty quick as well.

I will try that if I'm ever lucky enough to drop one in SP :D. This gets away from the poison aspect of Windform though... you're basically just using Windform for the defense boost right? I feel like BH + Wolf Stance would make more sense there.

WIndform can get a 4fpa attack, which is pretty much superior to anything else for on attack procs except for maybe a few things like ravage on the Aegipand rw (Ort in druid helm.)

Ah gotcha. If dual welding does this then become 2fpa like you mentioned? Sorry, I'm not educated on all the skill interactions and breakpoints.

It would, but only the Azurewrath hit checks would spawn its procs. You could always put something else fun on the offhand. Imagine dual-wielding Azurewraths...

Not exactly. From what i got you will just hit with both weapons (or won't... or just one wepen will hit) at once every 4 frames (at max IAS bp for both wepens ofc and it counts only in terms of damage, no procs or smth like that).

. Windform ONLY hits with your mainhand weapon. You cannot trigger offhand procs. Shield would be the way to go then.

As i told - it hitting with both wepens BUT only damage applies from offhand wepen, not procs, not life on atk, probably not even life leech.

I leveled this to 105, the AoE damage is decent, even with the spike nova proc, though I prefer SoR. However, the single target damage is what made me give it up. It's hard to max pierce but stay tanky, and your poison duration is only 2.4 seconds which is like 1 second on bosses, so you have to stay in melee range non-stop.

I remember it was used with Fortress. While you whirling - you have high poison damage and Fortress getting it too so it was like "cast Fortress, switch to snake, spam windform to get its' life on strike and poison dmg, repeat once Fortress cd is gone"
