I can get notifier to pop up in the top left but some items refuse to show up by holding or toggling show items with alt.

Can't reproduce either issue. Make sure you've both updated D2Stats.exe and DropFilter.dll to the latest version, preferably from the github and not tools page.
Also, the notifier/filter checks lines top-to-bottom and uses the first match; adding something below the default hide section is much less likely to have any effect.

Not really, no. I'm much less invested in Median these days. I still maintain the program, but that's as far as it goes; if you need to contact me a ping on Discord is much more effective.

Made a Launcher that launches both 'Median XL Launcher.exe' and 'D2Stats.exe' that can be saved anywhere together with 'Median XL Launcher' folder, just make sure to copy all D2Stats files to 'Median XL Launcher' folder, including the launcher I made like in this picture highlighted:
then create shortcut to desktop

It is classified as "set" item, so if you want to remove it from the Notifier tab, you'll have to ignore other "set" items too, delete "set" string and list all set items you only need (though it's a hassle thing to do)
