Well, actually it might be a different path for your OS, you can try to debug the process and look at this particular function call: Fog.#10115 - this function returns the full path to the save folder that's how I manage to solve the same issue when I tried to create a new character in SP.

Wine creates a Windows-like file structure, along with C:\users\<username> paths, that's where Application Data resides and where saves are properly stored.

Thanks for the tip Flu!

By the way, I managed to get game working fullscreen with -3dfx flag, but I'm not sure it works out of the box for Linux wine.

Getting progressively more errors with this Linux launcher, to a point where it won't load anymore. I'm not discounting the possibility it's something I did (in fact, that's the most likely cause), so gonna go eat a pizza, then do a full reinstall and start from scratch.

Also, ty SteelWings, SwineFlu, and Deafwave. It's a shame we can't give out more than 1 cookie/day. GG guys. :thumb:

Edit:
A clean reinstall seems to have fixed most of the errors at this point. (In the D2 install I was working with, I had uninstalled the M2017 version of the Launcher, installed the Sigma version of the Launcher for Windows, then tried using the Linux version. I'd bet that's what was causing the problems.)

I still get an error saying the program is not responding, but that's only b/c D2 hangs for about a second before launching. Otherwise, so far, so good.

Feel free to ping me on Discord (Deafwave#6892) and I can take a look at the code and see if it's something in there. Let me know if you find anything in your error_log.txt as that's the best way I can help.

Settings -> Bottom right -> launcher folder -> error_log.txt

In terms of OSX, while we do have a options for a single build, the current build process is automated for windows/linux and would be ideal to not rely on someone manually building an OSX version every once in a while.

I'll see what I can do though.

So it works with Linux enough to make it playable?
Might actually give it a shot now.

Yup. I've been going for 4 hours now on Linux w/o a problem so far. Sigma has actually been running better than M2017.

You still need these dependencies:
xdelta3 (linux command line package)
FUSE
wine (for Diablo II)

Don't run the windows version, there's specific appimage's to download now for Linux, as quoted above.
