Bug: Merc disappeared

Played a game for a whie, I went to town via a waypoint (I think it wa Black Marsh in normal - one of Stony / Marsh, just maybe dark wood).

Anyway,when i went back via a WP, I saw my zon merc had disappeared. I went back to the WP, no merc. Went to town, merc standing on the WP. I went back to apoly and the merc wa there again.

I doubt that I can reproduce this, just mentioning to raise awareness.

Singleplayer or online?

This has been a huge problem for me but I only play SP. Merc pathing is really bad, they get stuck and sometimes completely despawn without taking any damage and you have to rebuy.

Online. I didn't have to re-buy, it worked aging by going to town via WP and back out.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't stuck. I'd only just gone down via the WP and killed a few things, so I could re-trace my steps easily and look around for the merc (not many places it could be).

Yep, happened to me too. I was like, where the hell did my hireling go.
