Easily done thanks to wine.

D2SE lets you launch multiple d2 instances, to connect to TSW with those multiple instances you'll need this registry file tough.

Just a note for others using linux (arch linux here)--everything worked perfectly for me, glide and all until I updated about a month ago. Not entirely sure what the issue is, but the game errors out on glide (only glide) randomly now. I'm guessing I might need to reconfigure something or the new mesa package is causing a conflict. Anyway, ddraw doesn't really bother me so I go with that.

Yeah, that happens sometimes with arch. I think you're right with the configuration problem, because I installed everything when I posted (ran a system-wide upgrade just before downloading wine etc) and everything works.

Only complaint I have is about how wine uses "drives". Sometimes it complains about not finding an .exe even when it should. That is, to run D2SE.exe (~/.d2/drive_c/Program\ Files\ \(x86\)/Diablo\ II/D2SE.exe) it's not enough to have a C: drive in wine that points to ~/.d2/drive_c/, you also (or maybe only) need another drive that points to ~, which is kind of silly. Well, I was looking for something to get started with FOSS contribution, this may be a good starting point.

Anyway, even d2mr works, which I found somewhat surprising, so that's good. Sound is not perfect by the way, It stutters / new sounds overlap old ones, but that's probably a config problem that I'm too lazy to look into.
