Old player returning to median XL, and new to 1.3

What are some the the 'laziest' builds that are most viable?

By lazy I mean very little clicking, buffing, and skill-switching along with high survivability.

By viable I mean able to clear all ubers, challenges, areas, etc.

What is the best class for proc on Striking or on Melee hit?
What I mean by that, its the highest amount of chance and different proc skill a character can get and the best way to trigger them.

For on melee: Probably paladin. Because pala can have lots of spell procs AND gets a lot of free spell damage from Superbeast and Terror Strike. And don't forget the superbeast attack animation speed.

2nd best would probably be claw assa in terms of attack speed, though getting those procs will be hard.

On striking: There are lots of builds like that. I've seen a lightning bow druid, a Javazon with Danmaku, Throw assassins with shadow blade/throwing knives on proc and so on. It's really hard to determine that.

Holy melee paladin or almost all barbarian build

Depends on the merc. On kill procs only trigger from weapon damage and poison damage. So if you equip a necrolite merc with such a proc it won‘t be triggered.

unless the kill was from miasma/venom spirit
