There is really no need for endless loop in Belial case. Maybe for Kabraxis. But i havent tried him yet.

As for wall trick. I tried all that. Most of the time i see cows passing by in that "dead space" behind the wall and in short moment some of them hit me. Also the BPR uses blink on atack? randomly and changes his position. Thus i get pushed away from any spot in long run. But it's only annoying, he dies like all of them. Moo moo.

Don't stand that close to the wall, there is much cow free space.

Bump.

I am playing this in new season and its great fun. As i play almost untwinked (have a 119 amok rw bow waiting for me and thats that) and discovering new things while i go through game. My skill plan is a bit different from suggested mainly because no crafted bow/kraken. Thus i maxed wolf stance and deadalus for obvious reasons. Deadalus solves AR problems, gives some dmg and life on top. Wolf is for zoom zoom omg you cannot catch me lel. Actually i gives crushing blow which i lack because using rw and not crafted bow - no 6x perfect rainbow gems.
Another thing i discovered - 1 pt spirit walk is very usefull. Not only for stance radius but for jumping on top of those annoying kiting mobs and recking them on spot. Since i bind my keys on F1, F2, .... and leave tantrum on left button - its very easy to skill switch from wolf towards spirit walk, jump on enemy, switch to wolf midair and rape with tantrum when landed. It really helps when you want to take out kurast manglers but you have other enemies in between.
Also for boots options - there are at least 3 good TUs:

- ias, ar and dex
Thus its really a problem to sacrifice one item for honorific in early game. For me its usually a ... helmet.

MXL 2017 tantrum barb:
Can do:
cows and bpr - takes few deaths but still ok-ish
nithlakh place full clearing
ghost of bremmtown - slower than timer, but safe
khalimgrad 1 or 2 totems
face punch jitan - but suka does not drop

Want to, but cannot:
TA - end up luring amazons into my tantrums - very slow and boring
Duncraig - no good teleport source, immunes are immune to my tantrums

Gears, charms and predictions - crafted xbow, dex/str crafted helmet/gloves/boots, nih armor with 15%DR, unique bolt quiver. 7 or 8 basic charms, abou 70% leach. At this moment i tested that i can tank melee cows without poting. Caster cows are bad and in this case pot is faster than leach. Can also kill Jitan no problem. So my guess is - damage is ok, now just need more signets, more charms and this build will be good farmer again.

Bump.

Baal is a afk boss now for tantrum. Ran out of mana and can use tantrums after small delays while mana regens. And it's still enough to face tank boss and melt those summons as soon as they appear.

Fumbles, don't get mad if i post it here. If you disagree, let me know and i will move it somewhere else.

A lot of things changed since this guide was released and ... removed. But i still play tantrum barb and it rocks my world. Maybe it will rock yours too !
It's a strong and fast char to farm SPECIFIC areas and fails hard in some other areas.

Skill plan:
Everything is pretty straight forward. Tantrum is skill that works best when enemies come at you or teleport on you. When they stay ranged and atack - bad.
The more +x on tantrum = longer duration of tantrum circles. Skill hits many times per second so big weapon damage is not need, what is need - crushing blow, deadly strike, +xx to cold/fire/ligthning/magic damage, leach, on striking procs.

For leveling put 1 point in stances, 1 pt in all sword tree, keep wolves maxed, beer stance and use sword vortex skill until you reach lvl 21 and can use this -
Amok

Amok
Bows

'GurUmBer'
Runeword Level: 115
3% Chance to cast level 17 Gift of Inner Fire on Kill
90% Attack Speed
-25% to Enemy Lightning Resistance
+200% Enhanced Damage
-25% to Enemy Cold Resistance
+(34 to 39) to Tantrum
Slow Target (5 to 10)%
Elemental Resists +10%
+5 Life on Striking
. Then restat from bear stance to wolf stance. While leveling keep these skills to max: deadalus, wolf stance, wolf companion, spirit guide. Gear choice is simple too: Amor rw in bow, jitan kamon armor, wormtongue belt, lionpaw boots, honorific gloves for resists, auriel's halo circle as helmet, +1 skill rings with resists MOed, +x skill amulet with xp and resists. This simple setup lets you go through hatred and terror np. When you get lvl 90 - choose runemaster and immortal skills - max them.
At lvl 120 try getting sacred xbow or bow for shrine crafting. Look for tantrum (obviously, doh) and some proc like arrow or knife proc. These are very good but not mandatory. My current xbow is without them and still works. Armor - rw Erawan or rw Dragonheart. Both nice, Erawan gives nice damage reduction, Dragonheart - atack speed and +2 skills. Try str/dex shrine crafting for boots and gloves. Belt can stay same. Try to find rare bolt quarrel with proc on it, cryo beam is nice to get.
With this setup you can get some charms, do some ubers, easily farm some nice areas. For other charms you will probably end up restating.
Good and easy areas to farm:
Cows - easy to do, boss jumps on you - his own fault.
Khalimgrad - easy to do, everything walks into you - dies. Keep a potion or two if you are poisoned by punishers.
Bremmtown - easy if you can reach it and have enough damage to take first hit. For example using Jitan kamon in there is great. First group of dead mobs creat towers, you walk half screen to stay in range. Next group jumps on you - gets raped by tantrum + tower support. Continue.
K3K is average - need speed and lvl 90 skill for stun novas. Then run to totems ignoring stuff. When totems die come back to finish skeletons.
Nithlakh area, Diablo boss, Mephisto and councils, act 1 cathedral, act 3 kurast bazars areas - all easy and fun.
Duncraig - first part where no teleport is needed.

My current setup (nothing fancy, very few charms, but works ok):

I'm pretty sure that Barbarian is now easily the tantrum god, especially if you want to take that skill all the way and clear all the content with it. Doom damage is unaffected by WDM% and is really huge ~ 900 per hit at blvl 30 (seems like description is showing less than that amount for whatever reason), which is about 30k per second per 1 cloud in phys damage just from the companion curse. If you feel like micromanaging you could also use a colosseum barb sword to debuff bosses and destroy them even faster.

I probably wouldn't focus on cb & elemental so much but rather a good phys roll on the crossbow, that also fixes any mana issues.bBt I am sure your setup is decent also.

Yes, i have no mana problems at all. I have seen bolts and arrows with 15% hp or mp leach which would probably solve any mana problems with that single item alone.
Is it possible to reach 100 CB in this version without godly sacreds ?
Also i got question about cryo beam proc. How does it choose targets ? Random, closest ?
