It surprised me very much on the positive. At first i judged it for being "unlike Doom" , mainly because of the glory kills system, thankfully those happen very fast and dont stop the mommentum of action. Its a great SP experience the maps and enemy placement feels very intuitive, story is meh as usual they shouldve expanded more on Doom Slayer origins than focusing on the demonic outbreak in Mars and why it happened, we all already know about that after the first 3 or 4 chapters. I give it a 8/10 , really good game. Multiplayer is eh, neither bad nor anything great. Its Quake arena with Demon Morph gimmick.

I personally think the Doom remaster was a solid 10/10 because it stayed true to Doom, only they made it gorier. The lack of story is perfectly fine, as the original Doom had even less of a story line, and the story from Doom 3 just makes me cringe. The movement is super fast and the addition of 3d movement is spectacular and oddly fresh in an industry full of 3d movement. Exploration is back, and the game developers made the excellent decision of getting rid of the FUCKING COLOR KEYS. And the music is perrrrrfect for the game, enough said there. Great game.

Actually you still have colored keycard sections in Doom , just not in every single map. Also , in certain parts of Hell you need coloured Skulls , like in the original Doom games. What i meant with the story is that they try a narrative but everyone already makes an educated guess of what's happening after the first few levels in. They had ("have" if they plan on making a sequel) something that might turn out interesting with Doom Slayer characterization/origin besides the whole "he just wants to kill demons" thing. I agree , the fast movement is a great action picker , especially with rune upgrades that increase movement after glory kills , just non-stop rip and tear, and thats what Doom should always be about.

True, but they are not nearly as bad lol

And about the story: I don't think it would be right to try and put continuity into a franchise built off of the slaughter of demon scum.

Currently im rapidly going through several in my game list.
The moment I played a games that I cant enjoy in first 10 minutes, I will straight put it into "never touch it again"

At least game I find decent:
1. Enslaved
Didnt know it was Ninja Theory game before the DmC. Best part is, it is a kinda western take of Journey to the West in post-apocalyptic world

2. Human Resource Machine
Cute little game about programming. Even though I can solve them easily, I still need to refer to guide to get 100% on each level. I believe it is from developer of World of Goo.

3. They bleed pixel
Gosh, this game is pretty hard (maybe because im using keyboard?). Kinda like super meat boy, but you need to fight enemy as well. Thankfully it have system where you can create checkpoints anywhere (with a price of course).

I beat Final Fantasy 1 recently, pretty good game although a bit imbalanced at times. Some enemies were just incredibly fucking painful compared to everything else that could spawn in the area(like Red Gargoyles or Frost Drakes, who could just aoe melt your entire team because you have no elemental protection from items at the time you encounter them). Overall though a rather enjoyable experience, but can be frustrating sometimes.

So I just noticed you guys were talking about Doom. I bought it in February for less than $25, beat it in a week, fantastic game with an amazing soundtrack, great graphics as well. Played some multiplayer but got bored cause it's mediocre. Single was 10/10 though, and I'm going to replay it soon.

Finished Human Resource Machine, Attractio and Talos Principle (what an excellent game).
I have to use guide just to speed up finishing the game.

As for new game into my current playlist:
1. Alan Wake
Look quite nice so far, I thought long time ago that this game is only available on console. Playing on PC is kinda have nice performance on my old pc (since it is old game).

2. Ace Combat Assault Horizon
Simple game about aircraft / helicopter simulation-ish. I usually not a fan of this kind of games but so far Im having fun with it.

3. Ridge Racer Unbounded
I usually dont like to play realistic racing simulation, I also dont like much simple cartoony game like mario kart. So this game kinda fit between those two. It is kinda nice looking game with focus on drifting and boost. You can boost and destroyed rival car or destructible wall in the track.

I also recently bought Bluetooth Gamepad (seem it use wired for pc) and it increase the fun with couple of games Im playing atm.
