I've seen arrow and tantrum a few times, just not with much of anything else worth keeping. I use one that rolled knives, tantrum, good %ed and max damage.

I read something in the over/underrated items thread I intend to try. Put mal RW belt on a A5 merc with as much +%fire spell damage equipment as you can. Makes him cast some crazy immolation bomb, it's a 25% ctc on hit. Can do some crazy damage.

There's a build in guides section (not mine) that's Javazon based, reeeally good and quite powerful, but it requires a certain item to be viable. Its the danmaku SU athulua's hand, which has 25% CTC javelin on strike, and 10% CTC javelin nova on kill. It's really a fun build.
