Does Carnage make "on Striking in meele" or "on Attack" activated multiple times or just once?

Hey LH! I've crafted +19 apocalypse oskill boots. Do you think apocalypse could have more Potential than Funeral Pyre? I've tested them and it seems Apocalypse may have better area control for weaker mobs (but is that even necesarry for this build? I think no..) and Funeral Pyre works better for str...
