You can make runeword weapon out of ethereal base, and MO it with ED before making runeword, getting a high dps weapon.

Check if you have a skill point in melee devotion, or any gear/buffs that block ranged skills. Or use Bella elixir to reset skills, might help with some bugs.

Check if you have a skill point in melee devotion. Or use Bella elixir to reset skills, might help with some bugs.

High Labs are not meant for speed farming anyway. And as for build type it is matter of preference, some people love more active gameplay, some preffer 1 skill builds,it is up ti you to choose. However i agree that there is almost no innate aoe wdm skill on any character that i can say is impressiv...

Whirlpool is still quite good, just what you need in high dense Labs, as long as you have decent damage. I use it in rotation along with Broadside and charged Strike for high lvl Labs. Whirlpool Broadside Whirlpool and finish things off with charged Strike. It is not super fast but it gets job done...

I might be wrong, but I kinda feel like weapon damage based melee/ranged Assassin needs a better mechanism farming skill in late game, maybe sth like barb's earthquake. Shadow Refuge a normal buff, finally. Might aswell make Bloodbath the same :) This can actually be very annoying on claw sin since swing animation is way shorter than cast animation. But every single other build probably will feel good with that change. It is more matter of safety than QoL, in Labs...

This "attack ground" thing could be interesting. Will this effectively make melee characters into missile-based quasi-casters (but with the option to also melee)? Like, you can stand in one spot, hold shift+click, and missiles from your attack swings will proc even if you're not targeting...
