I'd love to make it compatible with D2SE but Annihilus isn't like a standard mod, it has special dll modifications that won't work with D2SE (as far as I know, haven't looked at D2SE in so long). Without these you'd be missing out on a lot of features that Annihilus offer that no other server currently has. Based on what I know I am fairly certain when Sigma comes out it will also not be compatible with D2SE, but again I could be wrong.

2 things make this unplayable for me: Server far away, and my own crappy Internet of 10kbps.

Is it solo-player friendly? or there are some ubers that will require a party in order to defeat the boss? Also, how do you keep new items you find? Muling?

Game is very flexible in that regard, its solo player friendly, but if you get a good party you'll be able to kill ubers really fast with trash gear.
