Level Challenge 0. need Help [Solved]

I dont know if im retarded or stupid. So i watched 3 different guides on how to get the skill for the 0 challenge and i still dont know why it isnt working.

So im level 5 right now and i put in the median statue and a health pot in horadric cube and press transmute. then i put it back in inventory and the skill just isnt in the skills selection. can somebody tell me what im doing wrong?

im playing median xl for the first time :/

before you read any guides check in what version they were made , then read the changelog of the patch you play in order to see what changed .
