Spent the day making these orb animations from scratch. The red border thing at the bottom is taken from D3's UI and the statue images are just some random art I found and cropped/edited. The orbs themselves were made with a particle engine. I think I might change the statue for the health orb, or edit it so it's more sharp and has as much contrast as the other image.
I can't exactly test them in-game, as animated orbs require code editing. If they look half decent with the diablo 2 palette (wishful thinking), maybe I'll make the rest of the orbs and release a pack to the phrozen keep or something. Not sure yet.
I'm in love with the last one. D2's palette would definitely not be friendly to that one though -- there just isn't that many variations of gold/yellow/brown in the palette.
