For casual players, no. Overall this mod has nice features and mechanics in it, but at the same time there is plenty of ultra annoying bugs, which make it barely playable. It's definitely worth a try, but keep in mind, that start in AM is very slow and painful.

Start is painful, you should wait for the next pach which makes it a looooooot easier, and it fixes lightning enchanted mobs. It is a really amazing mod tho, i think.

It's hard to compare, but this mod is challenging for sure. It's still MP biased mod which you are forced to play solo, so dont expect that SMOOTH run.
