After enjoying the Ubisoft open game called Immortal Fenyx Rising, I thought I finally can push myself to finish this game. At first I played for couple of week earlier this year, but get bored then hiatus for like 4 months before installing it again and completing it.
If you know me, AC Origins was my favourite AC game ever especially with vast beautiful world of Egypt. This game trying to replicate the same, but with more add combat option as well as awesome Spartan vs Athen war in the background. Combine skills from hunter, warrior and assasin trees you will able to tackle each enemies whichever you like. Also for first time ever, the series also introduce some branching dialogue option, that will allow you to role play abit. If you ask, the best part of the game is definitely amount of skill combinations you can use.
However I will start saying that generally despite Im a person that like Ubisoft open world formula, hated this game because how pointless most of the locations are. In previous games, at least it was interesting to see the surrounding but this game world is just too barren and not diversed enough (until you reach DLC). Also there are many couple annoying parts with the game, usually related to my skill not connected to enemy despite im being beside them. Ship battle is super awful and difficulty made enemies super spongey (until you get godly gear toward the end game).
Do I want to recommend this game? Not exactly. I rather have you play AC Origins or Immortal Fenyx which i think have better package. I didnt even get the story payoff at the end despite it being interesting.
