finished Seirei no Moribito (Moribito - Guardian of the Spirit)

above average, decent story plot and characters but nothing that blew my mind

So, just for shiggles, figured i'd give the first episode of One Punch Man a watch.

Wasn't expecting much, so it was a nice surprise to see that's it's 100% parody of generic anime. The jokes are fresh as long as you take em merely for face value, the cliche's are incredibly overplayed for comic value, and even the character design is great, and clearly a trope of the overproduced and over stylized nature of Anime. I'm generally not one for Anime, but even just 4 episodes in, i'm certain i'll be caught up in no time.

Best part, he is clearly the generic Westerner in a world full of deep anime, with very little interest for such insane levels of anime storytelling. His face is the most subtle joke which I will assume very very few people will really get.

Never actually watched Naruto before, but given how popular it is/was, I thought I'd give it a shot. Finally made it through the whole thing (skipped almost all the filler eps by the time I got to Shippuden, tho). I rather liked the art style and character designs (mostly), but the premise was just generic power fantasy stuff.

Yes. DBS got so much better once the Future Trunks saga started (despite a few wtf asspulls ). Looking forward to the return of the "B-Team" in this Universe Survival Tournament--especially #17.

Same here, I think out of the entire roster, 17 is the guy i'm looking forward to the most. I really hope he gets a really cool scene, or has a gimmicky power increase somehow.

I just finished ep 82, and I really liked it. I did think I would like Toppo more than I ended up liking him, too many Ginyu Force poses for me though. And I was confident he would realize Goku wasn't "evil", but still needed to be stopped anyway. Nope, he still thinks Goku is evil. And while I think "evil" is a pretty big stretch, I do realize Goku has become increasingly frivolous, and not always for the better. And in the preview, it shows Goku asking Vegeta to join the Tournament, and Vegeta is apparently saying no, so i'm hoping Goku ends up telling him about the risks of the tournament, and what's at stake, and Vegeta joins, gaining another pure rage boost (like when he fought Black) from his family and newborn child being at risk.

And my guess (or hope) on the conclusion of the series is that the losing gods attempt an overthrow on Zeno and Grand Priest.

And tokyo ghoul. Idk how I feel about it. S01e12 was amazing,

that conversation between kaneki and rize. SO GUD. That transformation was amazing, that guy went from BibleThump to imma torture your whole family in seconds. SO GUD. Season 2 was intriguing with the ''mistery'' of the eye king ghoul

. If you read the manga everything clears out, but well...idk. Amazing.

Finished watching Re:Zero a couple of weeks ago, and i'm now working on Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Holy hell is Jojo ridiculous, and it doesn't seem to care
