I did quick test feel of throw barb - still not viable. On moving targets it works ok-ish, since axe rain follows moving target it tends to hit around and somehow manages to do damage. When i tried it on Mephisto boss - no effect. Boss standing still, axe rain is falling, mana ending - no damage done. AR 35k, tamohawk maxed, throw mastery maxed but merc is doing all work.

Ruins of the nephalem - no idea what it is. Maybe name changed for existing uber or maybe new content.

Throwbarb for boss is dead. Still good farmer in innercloister if you wanted to use throwbarb just for that.

Druid reached hell. New weapon owns stuff and since it's rare + splash - it actually works and works really well. Now is only a matter of figuring out the best combo to add CB and DS.

Both weapons are ok-ish for single target only. No aoe, no usefull proc. Plus IAS is sad on both of them, even with punched socket + Shael (+20%IAS). I used wep with more IAS than these two but slower than 100 - can really see difference when equiped +140%IAS. Plus major factor - splash damage = area of atack efect, probably most wanted efect for melee tank char.

also @anonymous GG on discovering that splash damage bug on unique items. Either the affix isnt listed, and even when it is, it seems that just the itemstatdesc was modified, but not the actual items.

Got stuck at Duriel, damage was not good enough, merc does not target boss and minion sucked too. Wonder around taking wps and died. Ranged mobs do hurt this patch and i have no shield = no block and very low defense. 2h weapon druid is hard for hc, mainly because of defense/block and big struggle to keep resists up. Shield gives a lot of room to manage resists. Overall 1h + shield bear druid might work but i will be boring and long run since 1h weapon with splash damage are mainly 3 sockets only = low IAS, low dmg.

Tips: max spirits passive to get 2 spirits - one for hp, one for dmg. Max bear form, lycantrophy and start adding point into feral rage. Look for rare 2h weapons only with splash. It does not work on uniques yet, wasted too much time trying to make unique weps work. Sigon set is ok up until hell. In hell you will need to start mixing stuff up, sigon defense not good enough even with max res. On weapon also look for AR based on level = your AR will be low and you don't want that. Sacrifice some dex points if needed. It does not matter how good dmg is if you are not hiting with it. Rest is usuall, min str for eq, rest into vit. LL and ML is not a problem since feral rage gives a lot of that.
