Well that was a bit underwhelming. Considering the length of last season and the fact that this is supposedly the last patch before Sigma I hoped for some more incentives to play other than non-ladder. Chaos runewors look fun but the Bugs&Feedback has 32 pages... not even bugfixes? I'm jumping to the gun too early? Is the changelog on reddit the full version? there are big plans for mid-season content? Ofc I mean no disrespect but, if the transition to Sigma will bring a wipe, I can't help but feel like a huge opportunity for crazy testing of new ideas/balance has been lost. Anyway congratulation for the new season ^^

EDIT:
Thanks for the clarification Marco. My bad, didn't know about the issues generated by a realm-only patch involving changes to the skills, and also misunderstood the first announcement.

I'm not sure why people are surprised. We posted the season announcement two weeks ago here:

https://www.reddit.com/r/MedianXL/comme ... nd_august/

It basically says:
- no client patch
- 6 cube recipes for realm
- more cool features (= chaos rws, people have asked for it lots of times)

And that's exactly what happened.

For those who apparently didn't understand this is a transition patch: the content files of current MXL and sigma are considerably different. Every bit of new content that we add to current version, we have to also mirror (and adapt) on sigma files. This not only means double the work, it's time we could be using for new content that uses the new engine functionalities. This is the reason we decided not to make a client patch, and there's only that much you can do in terms of content without a clientpatch. For example any bugfix to skills would not be reflected in the tooltip properly. We had multiple issues with desyncs in the past due to realm-only features. I think most people understood what this season was about.
