Pretty sure it's because of the bug that I've reported around 8 months ago or so. Every time when Laz cast his totem it causes his AI script to reset and the initial state of it solely depends on the current player (target) position. Consequently if you place yourself in the right spot his AI might get stuck in an endless loop of doing exactly the same thing over and over again.

tl;dr You can abuse not only his AI but even his drop because they both have the same source of randomness. Manipulating the drop rates is much harder though, but you can draw a probability distribution map (with the exact chance of getting his trophy fragment) for the whole fighting arena to know where you should position yourself before casting the last purify that would finish him. Only one coordinate matters by the way, i.e. it's either x or y target position, can't tell for sure from top of my head.

You're right, thanks for the catch. The class variety rules have made it tricky to keep track of them. It's fixed now

Of course, I also know this bug, and I could easily record a similar video, since I am the boss's lover! I think that it was not quite right for the participant to apply this bug to the contest, but for the administration to accept this result

it's not really a bug though. it's the ai.
