2.4.2 Additional Notes


- Most melee skills when direct attacking should now properly consider character size and target size
- Act 2 Tombs & Lab 7: latest map changes have been reverted to 2.4 iteration
- Heart of Darkness: End of Time entrance is now a one way portal

2.4.1 Additional Notes


- Fixed a bug that allowed some melee skills to be cast at any range with quickcast
- Act2 Tombs: widened majority of paths, removed majority of doorways and improved details
- Viz-jun: replaced nuke strikes with EMP strikes around the boss and the northern adjacent area
- Fauztinville:
--- Reduced damage of Alpha and Delta
--- Reduced Epsilon's spamminess
--- Fixed typo in "Cube Reagent" for positronic brains
- Salvation Aura has an icon
- Hand of Frost now gives spell focus again
- Renamed Thunderhead (sacred unique axe) to Cumulonimbus, to avoid confusion with Thunderhead (tiered unique shield)
- Zod container updated to say the rune gives life after each kill

2.4.0 Additional Notes


- New Skill: Decoy, new bow amazon stationary summon to support phalanx and offload damage received
- Fire at Will:
--- Now upgrades decoy and lasts as long as decoy does (whether it's alive or not)
--- Now adds 5% cast rate per Base Level
--- Added state-icon
--- Requires Decoy, unlocks at level 30
- Training Dummies now have combined avg/min/max damage display, as well as damage of each element displayed (average of the last 100 hits)
- Angelic Touch: replaced orange effect due to technical issues, now adds 1000 Life Regen per Second, while under 7000 Life
- Wolf druid notes are incorrect. Harbinger got the larger damage increase (4x), Twisted Claw the smaller (2.5x).
- Fixed a bug that allowed summoning a minion, then still keeping it after said minion count became 0

Final Boss Colonel Kurtz...
if it does consume the key as well even trying will be insane... last season had 424 Sam kills and 139 Deimoss kills;
unless you can "finish" multiple charms in one kill (not sure), that would be super expensive to even learn the fight.

Consuming your stuff to attempt a boss is kinda borrowed from POE where you have to put in items into your map device and if you fail to kill the boss in six portals then you lose that key forever. I had this happen several times with uber variants of the bosses in current league.

Otherwise - good patch notes. I'll play and try out the new bloodzon. Must say that 20-second bloodlust version was clunky to play. Now we will have a proper blood magic character that uses life to do stuff. Gonna be interesting to gear up that character, focusing on life sustain rather than mana sustain.

The last skill has pretty steep requirements imo. Level 70 on a skill to even START getting any bonus? This is endgame level with big, BIG +skills investment on gear. Hm, maybe it's supposed to be super endgame, but I don't think such a skill should be a learnable thing. It fits on a level 130 challenge charm.

Nephalem key.... there's no single word it must be fully upgraded key (maybe you just need to complete all 6 mods deimoss upgrade to unlock this cube recipe)? Vial of Elder blood.... it ponted as hardest boss ever. So you should be able to kick SAmael with no doubt to make a try on this one. 25 sigs.... ...
