Hi, I've been playing this mod for the past 5 months on SP and I absolutely love it. I've levelled up 6 heroes and love how SP friendly it is and I also love the work you guys put in my personal two favorite classes the Paladin & Necromancer though I do have a couple of suggestions beginning with hero classes so here goes;

1. Paladin:
Bring back the Holy Shield skill under the Templar tree. Yes it's "technically" in the holy caster tree but it has a really short duration and feels very cumbersome to cast every few seconds. Also personal quable but Dragon Jaws looks ugly af (please dear devs replace it with a fancy looking skill) it's one of the reasons I don't want to play as a holy caster

Also what's up with the Neutral tree? Very bland melee range skills plus a sexy looking but actually bad ultimate skill. Please rework it maybe bring back a Holy Freeze Aura while you're at it.

2. Necro
Really solid character. All his ultimate skills are useful to all his builds. Just give him a skill for spell focus actually all caster classes should have access to spell focus passive or buff skill because balancing spell damage, pierce, resists and spell focus is really hard in hell difficulty especially on the latter Ubers for a build like the Totemancer

3. Amazon.
Buff her defenses specifically for the caster builds. I get that they're supposed to be played as powerful glass cannons but sheesh is she dependent on gear for defenses. Buff her max life or give her some avoid

4. Assassin.
The best tanky hero in the game but give her actual ultimate skills. The ones she has right now feel like they don't belong there. Beacon on trapsin pfft good luck with that. Also buff the traps tree and her bis gear. It's funny that both a psionic and trapsin are both assa builds but one is comfortable in labs and scosglen with just a set and one is still struggling with fautz

5. Druid.
The wolf tree needs a skill which increases max mana.
Also please give the Wereowl actual good looking attack skills don't remove egg trap though, Ranged egg trap should be an actual skill on the tree and give him more dedicated sacred uniques.

6. Sorceress
There's no reason a cold sorc shouldn't have long range spells or ones which don't suck

7. Corrupted crystals: significantly reduce the chances to brick an item. Make it at least 5% yes the hardcore/veteran players will disagree but tbh they're very few good corruptions anyways but remember you do have to kill tough mini bosses, sacrifice an arcane crystal, gold and most painfully an enchanted rune to even get them in the first place.

Sorry for the long post I had a day off and I saw a chance to rant to the creative team. They'll probably never see this but I do wish them the very best in updating and improving this awesome mod and also see what they're cooking

ooh, build discussions, time for me to be a contrarian again...

first, what i agree with:
- hyena strike needs reworked, it's been utterly useless since 2.0 (and it's not like it was great before then). break the WDM cap, give it a 500% poison spell damage buff for 0.6s on attack, turn it into WDM venomous spirit, anything.
- cold sorc could use a rework... at least in gearing. i like the short range kiting playstyle but the ice elementals / melee devotion problem has never been resolved so half her gear has useless stats on it (and they *are* budgeted for, so you're kind of just plain losing out). meanwhile, lighting proc on melee attack gear stuff exists but has literally nobody to use it since hzon rework (bc let's not pretend ied sin is going to put on stormflyer if she has any other decent options)
- vanish is a failed experiment and needs removed to make up tree space. i'm still hoping for the cold caster that's hinted at by the (shitty) frostfire wave oskill
- fire druid exists only to enable fire bear and definitely needs love. way too squishy for a build that can't hitstun anything
- poison druid skills are neat (though i'm biased) but don't quite work well enough for the speed mxl plays at
- buff or rework beacon. sin already has two secret ultimates in perfect being & shadow refuge but that's no excuse for a skill to be this bad. trapsin literally gets more out of wotr spell damage than beacon lmao

what i'm unsure on:
- last i knew, neutraldin hasn't been powercrept the same as other builds but it's still fine outside of a rough spot from late nightmare until you get some points into blessed life
- is pesti still doing fine? thought it was doing ok after buffs just no reason to play it when lightning totem exists. is it usable with deathlord again yet?

what i disagree with:
- i wouldn't mind a takedown rework but what it actually needs is a buff icon bugfix so people stop thinking their stacks have fallen off when they haven't
- do not touch bloodzon defenses except maybe to bump up the midgame and reduce the endgame a bit, she's fine when you figure out the gear puzzle
- do not touch stormzon defenses, i haven't touched her since shortly after the rework but there's nothing wrong with a glass cannon as long as it brings this much cannon. the primary thing missing is sustain
- do not buff mana wolf, IYKYK
- holy shit do not buff trapsin unless it's *only* a buff to incineration trap damage. build hasn't been touched in awhile which means shockwave outclears incineration despite tiny aoe, it still does fauzt naked, and still does sam in set
- hb/ava druid is slept on and doesn't need a rework, just could stand to be a little less squishy and trade some of hb's insane shotgun potential for actually hitting consistently (maybe slow the projectile down as it chains?)
- boner nec is pretty acceptable nowadays, just still too gear dependent. it doesn't need a rework just bc of nec's other builds as long as it's still trudging along fine on its own

absolutely unnecessary, roll more jewels
(that's not the entirety of a solution, but getting high spell focus is far easier than it looks at first glance and capping it is also way less important than it feels)

I'll hard disagree with not buffing trapsin - she feels beyond weak compared to everything else. Yes she can easily farm if you play behind walls for a while. Take her to labs? if you are insanely good, labs 8 at the very best. She needs some other more exciting skill that's not charged bolt to deal damage.

I'm going to spend the last couple weeks or so before beta combing through this thread. Lots of good stuff to work with and I'm nearly done with all of the stuff I'm working on.

One minor thingie: at the controls setting section - there is a key for "toggle item pickup" . Well, it's better to have a confirmation text for it at the screen.

trapsin is a giga safe and strong caster. let this seasons hc nith kill prove it. she got a huge buff from angelics too. yes she farms slower than other builds (but this season is a bad compare anyways) i played in set until 143 this season. do agree to siosilvar tho, beacon is dogshit and sad. same for incineration trap, it's not worth the frames to cast it dps wise. the build with cata and shockwave (and firedance, and this and that..) is complex enough as is but i'd like some solution to those 2 skills. like, anything. make incineration trap a melee hybrid supplement dmg option or something...

oh any someone explain vampiric icon to me. i know it enables vampiric strike, but how tf does it work and why is it useless? until then, i am happy clicking prismatic and wotr on her :D
