I bet he dies to traprats. Get more armor. for MK assa the best merc is probably an a2 Fighter mage (glacial Nova and Chronofield for massive slow) and a few uniques with nice procs like

Do you know to correctly make a runeword? First get a good base armor (like a sacred ancients armor), then make it grey if it isn't already by cubing it with a rune and catalyst of destruction. Then reroll that with an oil of renewal until you get 35% ED, lucky it either for another 20% ed or 1% DR, then put mo's on it for defense and only then socket the item with the rune. That way you'll exceed the 200 ED cap on items. Erawan in an ancient armor can easily get 16 k defense that way. Socket truce in a Plated Belt.

In case of barb merc Erawan and Truce are good as well. I'd personally use a crafted sword with balefire proc on him, but I guess you're not that far yet.

imo barb merc > A2 merc, but you can try out if the glacial nova's and chronofield are better for your survivability. And hire the merc in hatred. That way your merc will have better base stats.

Thanks for the suggestion, but i saw more usefull the shaperfighter, i like the fighter mage but my true body guard is my dear teddy bear haha, i gonna use that item suggestion, i just have to drop the item base for the RW, thanks anyway

Anyone got ideas where to check for a next delay list ? From many of the posts I realized that I don't have a clue about most game skills/mechanics... which is sad because I am playing for about 2 years which is probably nothing compared to the vets here. Anyways I realized that I need to start feeling the game via testing every possible skill in it. If someone has information about the most recent ND list please share it with me and maybe many more that were wondering about the same thing. Still having a bit of trouble with CTB here. I have aprox 1600 Dex, 250K Def, 235% FBR, and only 6% chance to block. Can anyone help me understand this a little better?

Iron Spiral Barb, even with Bear Stance and 1.13Mil Def I am still at 6% block

No, I am using Rune Master, Was having trouble surviving so went with RM for TA. GD makes that much difference?

Hey guys, two quick questions for you. Just started up D2 with a group of friends, didn't want to play the vanilla version, yada yada, we're doing our run in Median XL now. Anyway, I just wanted to ask:

1. For certain spells that say that they can target allies (Like Paladin's Tainted Blood for example), how exactly do you cast it on others, if that's actually possible? Is there certain keys you have to hold to make it not self cast?

2. Is there any variant to a /players 8 command we can use to make the game harder, or has that been removed completely?

1.) Tainted Blood no longer works on summons or allies. That's in the patch notes.
2.) players 8 will work in single player and LAN games I think too, but doesn't work on TSW
