Check the 'tools' section under the 'game' tab in the upper left corner of the site. It contains a variety of download links, one of which is labeled D2Stats Reader. Download it, and start it before you start Diablo 2. It should display a popup whenever a unique or set item drops.

The tools section also contains the Median XL Offline Tools, which is quite handy to have imo. Its biggest flaw is that you can't use it while you're in-game, but just the shared stash it provides makes it worth the trouble.

You are allowed to open another game instance to mule, just hit play on the luncher two times, create a game with one character (preferably passworded) and join that game with your other character. Just don't leave town and gain xp by any means or eat signets of learning while muleing.

Because it's your own class skill. If your class owns the skill that the weapon gives then you only receive a maximum of up to 3.

How does poison damage calculated in sigma? The guide in the doc is "outdated".

The point at which wdm poison duration is averaged depends on the skill used. Eg. thunder slam can stack two poison duration items without duration becoming averaged, and batstrike can stack one (assuming snake stance / wots is already factored in).

It only now occurs to me I never did any testing with poison dps to see if it behaves the same way.
