You can definitely play without trading.. I wouldn't mind a restricted server like that. TG is pretty straightforward, 10 is worth $1, can be obtained by donations, use it wisely..

I can't find the exact times, it's listed somewhere, it depends on the rarity of the item, sacred uniques and sets stay the longest. Distance doesn't matter, only time. How long was it? Should be like 30 minutes or something.


Didn't seem quite 30 minutes but it was close, Unfortunately only the sacred uniques and set pieces disappeared and not my sacred rares (which were going to be my junk). I was actively sorting which is why I am posting this here as I know I can't be the only one who takes a long time with inventory management.

You can check the old SkillCalc. Damage numbers listed there have been out of date for a long time, but it can usually give you an of idea what a skill does. Or at the very least, the type of damage it does (e.g. Searing Glow is a spell that deals Phys damage).

I mean like that's not true at all and it differs from class to class, all weapons have a base WSM thats global. I'm sure it has something to do with characters breakpoints and why the speeds are slower, but what you said isn't true in the slightest.

Here you can see the WSM of all base weapons that you can use with speed calc to find your breakpoints.


Sorry, but for the base item page, the speed IS WRONG.

Small example: A long bow on a Necromancer has "Slow Attack speed", while on an Amazon, it has "Normal Attack Speed".

There are many many cases like that if you pay close attention.

I have a question regarding mules. Is there a safer way to transfer items than I do: I join someones game, drop items on floor and quickly rejoin with another character.
Is it possible to open 2 diablo clients with same account or any other way?

Can someone briefly explain how much elemental pierce I need? Monsters that are immune have 100%+ resistance, right? So by getting 100% pierce, I can break the immunity? I know pierce also adds more damage to non-immune monsters. Do I have the right idea? Is pierce better than spell damage?

Yes. You can open 2 instances of Median. Mule in private, password-protected games to avoid the risk of items being taken by other players (any item on the ground in a public game is considered fair game for anyone to pick up).

Check out the Intro to Mechanics thread and the How Spell Damage is Calculated thread.

But the tl;dr is:
135 pierce for mobs and 170 pierce for bosses.
Pierce can't break immunities (but some skills can).
Pierce dosn't affect a monster's Absorb.
Regarding pierce vs. SD, not sure if one is necessarily better than the other. Both mods compliment each other, and both have diminishing returns. So if you're stacking tons of SD w/o noticing much increased damage, start stacking pierce (and vice versa).
