It working same as doom, but for any NON-physical damage, this counting also spells that deal fire/lightning/cold/magic damage.
PS: Lemures working fine as singletarget: they have no ND btw.

But i guess was just confused when you told "banish need WDM to work while it's not since it working like "reducing enemy flat magic damage reduction to negative value" (doom doing same but with flat phys damage reduction)
