Which class should you choose to beat all the uber bosses? For single player play.
Also, which mercenary do you think is the strongest?

lol necromancer summoner is a pretty good class killing uber its about understanding its gameplay and uber gameplay. if summon is soft toughen its resist or hp. if the damage is low , increase it. its about balancing your summon power and sustain . veil king is a tough one i let him 1v1 some uber. think before you complain dont let your brain become useless.

Wow what a constructive post. Just get more hp, resistance and damage 4Head.
I think necromancer itself can beat uber, if all uber it depends on your skills and understanding uber mechanics and maximizing class capabilities, u can change necro build . your playing SP you have time to explore. Mercenary: since your using summon the barb is good to tank . For me Its depends on your best item available .

Don't fight just love covid free im out.

Only thing I disagree. Barb merc is far superior, Gift of the Wild, Thunder slam, Qaraks Will, even Carsomyr if you can get one. What does shapeshifter have? Bloodlust and Bearing.

Yes, as I said, Act 5 merc is better, but if you just want a meat shield, Act 2 shapeshifter is still better (specially in high labs with support items).
I still wouldn't really say it's best at anything, maybe as a phys damage dealer, but act 3 mercs have way higher (pick your elemental) damage than the barbs, Act 1 mercs to faceroll aoe clear lower uber areas such k3kba/cows. Act 1 mercs can even be good in dunc/fauzt if you use a summoner and need physical damage, so they don't die 0.5s and let your summons tank.

Yeah every merc have their uses. It just hit my eyes comparing Shapeshifter and Barb.

Hello,

Is sheet damage not always an accurate reflection of in-game/real world kill speed (eg similarly to D3 where sheet damage can be very misleading)? I'm thinking moreso farming rather than specific boss fights, and right now looking at around clvl 120-125 content.

Reason I ask, is after a substantial gear upgrade tonight (T4 Honorific Gloves -> Rogue Foresight sacred unique), my sheet damage is down by around 10% on all my major skills. I also had the same outcome following a chest armour upgrade. I know this doesnt consider other important factors (eg increased survivability from other stats on the new gear) but I was curious about the drop in statistical damage.

Cheers :-)

It's reasonably accurate in total per hit damage. Can't say more for your case without looking at the example in question, but it sounds like maybe you lost some requirements to equip other gear via the -10% strength. Deadly strike also isn't accounted for on the char sheet number.

One more question about sheet stats: when i'm switching from Lightforge shield and back i can see some lag (about ~1 sec) in bonus stats reapplying.
Do this lag applies to real stats or is it only stat sheet lag?

Look at the set page and after "other sets" pretty much everything is nice especially Zakarum with two pieces. Some of build-enabling (like Guardian of the Sightless Eye etc) are also fun. Then there are Witchunter's Hood, Steppe Sleepers, Pretty much everything else are just sigs at least for me.
