Hey everyone - genuinely curious about something regarding this mod.
I get the epeen cheap shots the game regularly delivers to stroke certain egos, but what is the actual point of this kind of artificial difficulty at the end of the day?
One can die 456 times to the same boss' one-shotters and still win eventually. Seems counter-intuitive to spend that many hours developing such an easily circumvented formula....
I will give them a point of credit, though -- they seemed to have significantly toned down said aforemention BS in recent patches. They're not quite there yet though.

This is pretty much softcore mode in any rpg game? Plus there's lockout timers on some bosses now. You could always play hardcore.

Example my 2nd short question....
How vital is shadow refuge to maelstrom assassin? When I try to utilize it it feels like it gets me killed more than helps me. My current short lasting spell is Doom. I have doom set on “S” button when I’m not having to heal I spam doom in between attacking.
