Its plain 100%wdm dmg + a bit of light dmg, adding all ele/magic dmg u have too.

wait i'm a bit confused. are you guys saying that spell damage does not add/affect the elemental damage of a weapon? like, if i'm using a claw that has 1-600 lightning damage and add %lightning spell damage it will not increase that damage?

currently, my crossbow on my necro is fire damage based and %spell damage increases tooltip. so is that tooltip increase shenanigans or am i not understanding properly what you guys are saying?

Yes, that's the point - that tooltip gets it wrong.

you have already got the old reward? then you're screwed for that char, i think. its linked to quest or first kill. so u need to lvl a new char.
