It should, but i'm not sure and i don't run griswold, it's too boring. Better run a boss, even Andy if you haven't gotten to Mephisto yet, get 2 AC, gamble a scythe and create it.

Nope. You can check the documentation for a list of all procs that can possibly spawn.

What do bloodmages benefit from in gear?

Spell Damage, -enemy resists afaik.

So I can just pump up fire damage and resists on him? Along with defence stats

Not sure if he needs any defence. He is pretty slim and swift, can escape from most enemies. Witches and some heavy-damage-dealers can still kill him no matter how tanky bloodmage is. Just fire spell dmg and -fire resists.
