Is there a way to check out jewels etc. in an item without using the oil of disjunction? I imagine that there is maybe a hotkey in D2Stats to view the base item without the socket-fillers, as in old maphack for D2 (?).

Just a wild quess but propably messes up with the set bonuses. I haven't played a single mod that have ethereal sets.
