ya, the reason i like levels in blink right now is the lower cooldown which only hard points does. stun length doesn't need to be long, just high usage uptime so i can jump from pack to pack with a stun to start them all off with. very much a playstyle thing rather than effeciency. just happens it's what keeps me alive atm too. No matter what i'll keep it under 3 seconds, preferably 2.5 (forget where the diminishing return value gets high, feels around there)
edit: would be really nice if the AoE range went up by skill points instead of stun duration. just a flat 3 second but increased AoE for usefulness. i can't recall the amount of times i missed one of those mana sucking bastards in the jungle. The only time i ever come close to dying there is without merc + mana syphoned. increased range would be an amazing quality of life more valuable than a duration bonus (most things die in far less than a 7-8 second stun anyway lol)
As for vicegrip i was questioning it because i have the str i need with current gear. might go up some when i use sacred quilted armor, but i doubt it'll be high enough to need the str from vicegrip. I think the main reason it might be used is for crucify and max damage. not at home atm so i forget if crucify is weapon dmg or magic dmg. And theirs lack of good gloves outside su. Deadfall i probably won't use, so many other belts have far more uses. 60 str is nice don't get me wrong, but i prefer life leech when i'm already sitting over 2k dex without any real charms, and still over 250 more sigs i can add. a little str for the time being isn't a big deal.
Hail as a off weapon for ST fights is something that i'll certainly look into. as it's the ubers right now that give me issues. Still can't kill Jitan at 115. Was waiting for 115 to adjust gear/respec which i'll do either tonight or tomorrow depending on how long my homework takes me. I'll probably go for a 5 blade QoB just for certain ubers combined with the judge. My SU belt will be transferred over, as will my teganze pendant off of sorc at 116 (the lvl it is after mo's). I do like the extra crit on shadow dancer. when you're doing 100ish strikes per skill at that rate it just ends up as an outright 25% dmg increase (assuming the elemental damage can crit, and is added at 65% per bat, which is why i considered the TU tiara > set helm. that cold dmg would add up really fast + solid leech).
