Not all of us are as familiar with Median/Sigma mechanics as some of the rest of you.
Ive only been playing this game for a few months but played D2/Lod religiously back in the day. Back then iirc a bowazon could strap on a windforce and go crush anything. Now it takes a bit more trial amd error.
Curare looks great in the tooltip but yeah- it doesn’t make sense for a bowazon after having used it. And now compared to paragon its not even a question anymore.
I literally was gonna just give up on my bowazon but read a few comments here ab playing this build different than in vanilla and busted out a belladonna, spec’d paragon, emptied the runes from my gear and put pgems in those slots. The difference is amazing tbh. I went from dying CONSTANTLY (k3k p8) to now being able to clear it myself and not die unless I just dont see some of the melee mobs due to all the phalanx arrows flying around and walk right into them.
Amazon has always been my fav class and this one change has literally breathed new life into the game for me. I wanted to have a high lvl bowazon but died so frkn easy it was exceedingly frustrating the higher lvl zones I entered. Thats changed now. Thanks for the comments guys.

I thought Ecstatic Frenzy was a must-have skill for bowazon? (Sets def = 0).
Or are you thinking that there are builds that can work without EF?
But like someone said, xbow necro seems strong in this game so I made one of those and it works well.
The other thing with bowzon is it suffers from losing auto-run. With EF there's no point in walking so you get mobility in exchange for defence. Now you get neither. Maybe EF should add into the skill's abilities 'always runs while active (no stamina cost)'.

I'm saying that you didn't think that only good defence your zon can have is high hp pool + potential physical res. And yea, I can feel xbow necro nerfs coming, he's too strong rn
Played bowazon before sigma and didnt had any of those problem, even did duncraig with old teleporting:
-paragon ONLY
-positioning
-and for my point of view most important- focusing on psychical damage
All gems are amethysts, so they really improve your damage, and then life leech really start working, i teleported in duncraig, start barrage, my life almost less than 10 %, and boom full life, everything dead. Ele damage is enough from passives

can you post your equip items here...i understand you are using paragon and bag of tricks but other than that my bowazon cant kill that fast,,i even have the new legendary bow with rapid wormshot i just got it today

I just started a bowzon and thinking about some things like Frenzy yes/no ..... Barrage or Wyrmshot .... which reward .. etc.
and i want to try to play her untwinked ... if possible
