Spearazon: viable or not?

So its pretty much my first time in Median XL (played my fair share on Median 2008) but i started on TSW with a Spear Amazon. Im now 105 and looks promising but the lack of guides on that build is rather disturbing to say the least. Perhaps its the not meta but is spearazon viable for endgame content or im just going the wrong path with this spec?

Been looking for decent build with sacred uniques/runewords and sets but with that many items added to D2 its nearly impossible to see whats good and whats trash. I do know i need the basics (FHR, defense and resists) to survive.

Im looking for a build for spearazon that can potentially solo most content. Anyone have any clue to what core items i should be looking for?

depends, for farming pouncezon is still alright but not great, for bosses....I'd respec to a different setup and build...

Whatever you do dont go bowazon. There will be pain. There will be tears. But seeing a spearzon or jav is rare these days. Its mostly all hammers and missles.

Thanks for the tips guys. Figured bowzon was bad, was bad in M2008 so i didn't want any of it.

wolf druid is the better pounce zon atm.

What nerf make greathunt not great against bosses? I havent play pouncezon this patch

Great hunt is still good.. just no CB against bosses

Great hunt for leveling is one of the best skills, vs bosses. Untwinked run nm baal you can get him in literally few seconds with this, fastest of all characters I tried.
You also get highest defense of all builds untill lategame when runemaster barb beats it, but untill then, spearzon wins with massive tcd from lioness and +def from balance.

Only issue is that in lategame farming with great hunt is not ideal its like farming with earthquake, annoying aoe pattern, and penalty in form of no leech (100% magic).
Pounce does feel rather weak, 60% wdm. Can work with godly gear, but you really need to push it hard.

Last 3 seasons i played a poison focus mf pouncer. its always fun, cheap, and a fast build. Current sigma pouncer has 1 million defence, around 70k dmg ( dont remember ) and 400 mf
