is your d2 window named Diablo II?
did you put the filter dll file next to d2stats?
is your antivirus blocking it? add it as an exception

Filters out magic rings/amu/quivers but rares aren't read when dropped on ground? or did you mean magic as in magic and rare, not unique?

nvm. I think I misread. Is there a way rare amulets/rings/jewelry can be added to the notifier?

Sound alert can just me added as an option to turn on/off. It's annoying to look at the top left corner all the time for drops.

Maybe you can add an Auto PickUp for everything of interest.

the drop notifier does notify all pieces of the yshari set, except for the two arcane seals and the necklace

I lauch through the launcher, I renemed it to Diablo II. Did not work.
I have filter.dll next to d2 stats. Its placed in main d2 folder, in median xl launcher and on the desktop. I even put those files in folders, did not work.
My antivirus is not blocking it. Weird. I download d2stats from the tools section. Don't know how to make it run. I instaled vredist 2015 also.

Edit. OK. I figured it out. Thank You Quirinus for attention

but now another error with halt exception

So the drop filter does not seem to be working for me.

I still seem gems under perfect, small gold piles, elixirs, low runes, etc

Is there something i am missing?

Did you inject it? You have to use "Shift + Home" while in game to do so.
